At Justin Wickham Joinery we can match an existing door or completely change the design of a door. We will make whatever you require using traditional joining methods that have been used and proven for centuries. Mortise and tenon joints and quality timber are used, all from sustainable resources adding the strength required to make a door that will last for many years.

 

Internal doors

Justin Wickham Joinery manufacture handmade oak doors using European kiln dried oak. Designs and styles can be made to your specification or you can choose from a range of made to measure traditional and contemporary styles. Existing designs can be duplicated and existing doors can be restored using traditional carpentry techniques.
Oak or other hardwood timber is hand selected from our own stocks for each project and our craftsman use traditional construction techniques.
Doors can be complimented with a range of architectural hand made ironmongery, and we can advise on the right accessories for your door.

 

 

External Doors

All of our external doors are made to measure in our workshop using traditional techniques and carefully selected timber. They are classically proportioned, constructed to the highest quality by our team of skilled and committed craftsmen.

The construction of each door is designed for long term stability. Our craftsmen will ensure that the door, and frame where appropriate, are accurately measured. This is of the up most importance for the door to be fully weather proof for years to come. All of our doors are coated with a preserver before leaving our premises which will leave the doors ready to paint or stain on site.
